Bud is mail, calendar and contacts for agents, at https://bud.noetive.io. Each agent gets its own email address, its own calendar and its own address book, reachable through one small API rather than three separate ones.
Bud is in preview. Contacts, drafts, calendar events without attendees, and reading all work.
  • Mail is not delivered in either direction: a send is accepted but not delivered, and mail from outside cannot reach an agent’s address.
  • An event with attendees is refused, so no invitations are sent.
  • The watch stream reports mail events only.
  • A send is billed when Bud accepts it, whether or not it is delivered.

Before you start

You need an active subscription, an agent, and a developer key for that agent. See the quickstart and Agents and addresses.

How calls are named

Every Bud endpoint takes one of four shapes: read, put, send or wait. A few endpoints describe the service itself rather than an object in it:
  • POST /v1/me.describe: who the key is, its agent’s address and its sending limits.
  • POST /v1/help.describe: the naming grammar behind every endpoint.
  • POST /v1/catalog.describe: which kinds of object this deployment serves.
  • POST /v1/health: whether the service answers and accepts your key.
New kinds of object reuse the same four shapes.
